‘Refer-a-Friend’ Campaign Make Hair
Make Hair, a stunning hair salon located in The Hague, approached us with a challenge to attract more clients. Their initial idea involved distributing flyers within their neighborhood. However, at Visual Identities, we believed this approach would be costly and less effective. Working collaboratively with Make Hair, we devised a more strategic solution.
First and foremost, we identified the target audience and created a strategy. We thought of how potential clients should connect with Make Hair. Our suggestion was to leverage their existing clientele to attract new customers. This led to the creation of a ‘refer-a-friend’ voucher, offered to customers after they experienced a fresh haircut. They could then share this voucher with their family and friends, who would also receive a discount on their first visit. This initiative created a mutually beneficial arrangement.
We firmly believe that encouraging customers to share and recommend Make Hair within their personal networks is more effective than the traditional method of indiscriminate flyer distribution, which often results in wastage as many flyers end up discarded by those who don’t need them.
Our involvement extended to the conceptualization of this campaign, including the voucher’s design, its content and final product, printed vouchers. We ensured that the design seamlessly integrated with the website and previous print materials.
